 MOCK PRESS Competition 2025 - September 30, 2024 LITERATI, the English Association of Peet Memorial Training College, Mavelikara, consists of a group of people obsessed with creativity, imagination, and language of all sorts. We have been constantly organizing literary events that enhance the creative and ingenious talents of our students, and for the first season of our Mock Press, there came a great number of participations from the students of each and every optional. If you have an imaginative mind that would let you be in someone else’s shoes for a change, and if you have a flair to speak out your thoughts, you can be part of this event.  One Day Field Trip 2024 Travelogue - September 27, 2024 The field trip for the first semester of B.Ed. Curriculum was visited in Thiruvananthapuram City on 27th September 2024. The journey started at 6:24 am from the college, and we had breakfast on the way to Nilamel, Kollam District. The trip started with the Prayer by Dr Elizabeth Joshua. The trip was travelled via Tharakara- Mamkamkuzhy- Charumoodu- Adoor- Kottarakara- Vamanapuram- Pothencode- Kazhakuttom Thiruvallam route. The breakfast was served at Hotel Bismillah at Nilamel, Kollam District at 08 am and left at 08:45 am.   The first spot for the field trip was Kerala Arts and Craft Village, Vellar, Thiruvananthapuram reached at 10:19 am.  SNEHAKOOTTE" Old Age Home Visit - September 25, 2024 The National Service Scheme of the Peet Memorial Training College, Mavelikara organised Snehakootte, the Old age home visit to Gandhi Bhavan Snehaveed at Haripad on 25th September 2024 at 10:30 am. Mr Shameer Muhammed, the Director of Gandhi Bhavan Snehaveed, Haripad welcomed all volunteers and introduced the Gandhi Bhavan and its inmates. Dr Mumtas S, Programme Officer, Mr Biju David (LD Clerk, Peet Memorial Training College) and Arya A.R. (NSS Student Coordinator) delivered speeches. The Volunteers of the NSS initiated activities such as music, experience sharing, games, speeches and mimicry with the inmates of Gandhi Bhavan Snehaveed. The NSS volunteers collected some goods for the inmates of Gandhi Bhavan Snehaveed and it was distributed to the inmates. NSS DAY Celebration & Orientation Programme

  - September 24, 2024 The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of Peet Memorial Training College celebrated NSS Day on 24th September 2024 at the College Auditorium at 10:00 AM. Dr. Azser R.N. (State NSS Officer, Kerala State NSS Cell) inaugurated the NSS day celebrations. He pointed out how a responsible volunteer can contribute to society and the country, especially student-teachers pursuing a B.Ed. Life. Dr Alie Molly Verghis, Principal of Peet Memorial Training College presided over the session and Shri. Poulouse Koshy (Vice President of the Alumni Association, Peet Memorial Training College) delivered the felicitation.  SALUD' College Day 2024 - September 11, 2024   The Pravega College Union 2023-2024 of the Peet Memorial Training College, Mavelikara, organised 'SALUD' College Day on 11th September 2024 at 10 am, chaired by Mr Adith Rajesh, College Union Chairman of Peet Memorial Training College, Mavelikara. Mr Kodikunnil Suresh MP, Hon'ble Lok Sabha Member of Parliament, inaugurated the College Day. Dr. Alie Molly Verghis welcomed distinguished guests to the College Day programme, and Mr. Adith Rajesh delivered the presidential address. Mr Jishnu M, General Secretary of Pravega College Union, Peet Memorial Training College, introduced the Annual Report and Statements of Income and Expenditure of the College Union. Pookatte Kavadi" Onam Celebration 2024

  - September 10, 2024 "Pookatte Kavadi" Onam Celebration 2024 was celebrated on 10th September 2024 at Peet Memorial Training College, Mavelikara, organised by Pravega College Union 2024 in association with IQAC. The Onam Programme started with 'Attapookalam' and was followed by the Onam special beauty contest 'Malayali Manka' (for girls) and 'Kerala Shreeman' (for boys). Various games include 'Sundaranu Pottuthodual', 'Lemon and Spoon Race', Uriyadi, Pavakka Thinnal, Thug of War, etc. Onam Sadhya (Lunch Meals) was provided for Teachers, Non-teaching staff and students. Many Students and teachers attended the programme.

Teacher's Day Celebration 2024

  - September 05, 2024 The Teacher’s Day celebration of Peet Memorial Training College was held by the NSS Unit of Peet Memorial Training College, Mavelikara, on 5th September 2024, under the leadership of Principal Dr Alie Molly Verghis at 10:00 AM. The principal addressed the teachers and students regarding the importance of education and how the teachers will become the torchbearers of society. Programme Officer Dr Mumthas S presided over the session. Ms. Atheena Jailal (First Semester B.Ed. English) did Guruvandanam, and Ms. Lekshmi H (First Semester B.Ed. English) delivered a message for the day. After that, the Teachers’ Day celebration was held, and programmes included games, cultural programmes, and experience-sharing. Students and teachers actively participated in every event. The Cake cutting session was conducted for the teachers. The session came to an end with the National Anthem. After the programme, we hand over gifts to teachers as part of the teacher's day.
