 Peet Memorial Training College College Union Election 2024

The University of Kerala notified the election to the College Union of the Peet Memorial Training College on September 5, 2024. Students interested in holding offices submitted their applications to the Returning Officer, who scrutinised them on October 10, 2024. One nomination was rejected due to the age barrier to the office of University Union Councillor. 11 out of 15 seats are elected unopposed and 3 posts are needed for the election. The election was held on the 18th of October, 2024 from 10:30 am to 12:15 pm at the Natural Science classroom for the following posts: Vice Chairperson, Arts Club Secretary and Lady Representatives (2 vacancies). 


The Meet the Candidates was held on 16th October 2024 at 1:30 p.m., and all candidates contesting various positions delivered messages to voters containing their electoral promises. All candidates except Sandra Saju S (Lady Representative candidate) delivered their messages and asked for their support through their franchise. All candidates delivered messages between 2 to 14 minutes in each candidate. The programme came to an end at 02:45pm. 


The Counting was started at 12:30 pm in the Natural Science classroom under the supervision of the Returning officer. Shafina Kabeer and Roshna Sabu are designated as the counting agents for the candidates. The counting came to an end at 12:45 pm.

 Ethirineram' Children's Day Celebration @ Jyothis Special School and Therapy Centre, Mavelikara - November 14, 2024 'Ethirineram', the Children's Day celebration of the Peet Memorial Training College National Service Scheme was held on 14th November 2024 at 10:00 am at Jyothis Special School and Therapy Centre, Puthiyakavu, Mavelikara. Rev. Vinod Eshow, the Manager of Jyothis Special School and Therapy Centre welcomed the NSS volunteers and other distinguished guests and introduced them to the institution.
