 Peet Memorial Training College College Union Election 2024 - October 23, 2024 The University of Kerala notified the election to the College Union of the Peet Memorial Training College on September 5, 2024. Students interested in holding offices submitted their applications to the Returning Officer, who scrutinised them on October 10, 2024. One nomination was rejected due to the age barrier to the office of University Union Councillor. 11 out of 15 seats are elected unopposed and 3 posts are needed for the election. The election was held on the 18th of October, 2024 from 10:30 am to 12:15 pm at the Natural Science classroom for the following posts: Vice Chairperson, Arts Club Secretary and Lady Representatives (2 vacancies).  The Meet the Candidates was held on 16th October 2024 at 1:30 p.m., and all candidates contesting various positions delivered messages to voters containing their electoral promises. NSS Free Medical Camp 2024

 NSS Free Medical Camp 2024 - October 18, 2024 The Free Medical Camp was conducted by the National Service Scheme Unit of Peet Memorial Training College by collaborating with St. Thomas Mission Hospital, Kattanom and St. Thomas Karkithos Cancer Centre on 18th October 2024 at the College Auditorium presided over by Dr Sony Mary Varghese, Assistant Professor, Peet Memorial Training College. Shri K.V. Sreekumar, Chairman of Mavelikara Municipality inaugurated the programme. Mrs Santhi Ajayan (Ward Councilor and Health Standing Committee Chairperson of Mavelikara Municipality delivered the keynote address. Mr Biju David (Staff Representative) and others felicitated on this programme. Doctors provided guidelines to the students regarding the symptoms of various types of cancer. Many people attended the free medical camp mainly free eye testing and cancer screening.
