The Free Medical Camp was conducted by the National Service Scheme Unit of Peet Memorial Training College by collaborating with St. Thomas Mission Hospital, Kattanom and St. Thomas Karkithos Cancer Centre on 18th October 2024 at the College Auditorium presided over by Dr Sony Mary Varghese, Assistant Professor, Peet Memorial Training College. Shri K.V. Sreekumar, Chairman of Mavelikara Municipality inaugurated the programme. Mrs Santhi Ajayan (Ward Councilor and Health Standing Committee Chairperson of Mavelikara Municipality delivered the keynote address. Mr Biju David (Staff Representative) and others felicitated on this programme. Doctors provided guidelines to the students regarding the symptoms of various types of cancer. Many people attended the free medical camp mainly free eye testing and cancer screening.
